I read this article and it made me ponder for a moment. In Islam, a husband is not required to give you a wedding ring, let alone a diamond (almas) one. But he can give you a ring for many reasons. One reason is that he doesn’t want you to feel cheated if you live in a western culture where it’s common practice. Another reason could be that the ring is your wedding gift as it’s pricy. And because you don’t have a price, a diamond is the closest thing he can come close to, to make you feel special. Now, I have an advice for you single sisters. I had my doubts at first, moreso because I didn’t want to be a trial and error junkie and left to me, I was already satisfied with my skin which I considered beautiful enough. I mean, my skin was not supposed to be an experimental slab. But in the end, I decided to give it a try.
I have multiple jars of it all around the house so that it’s always within my reach whenever I need it. The wonderful thing about it is that it is very affordable; it serves so many functions and comes in handy even in unimaginable circumstances.
